The Regatta is a
great family day out Not only is it a premier rowing
competition but it also offers a traditional mix of family events,
including a funfair,
stalls, places to eat, and of course
a beer tent and lots of Live Music (the line
up will be published soon....).
The 2010 regatta has some great attractions. When the
excitement of the rowing becomes too intense why not relax
by taking the kids (a good excuse for having a go yourself)
to some of the best entertainment around. Here are just a
few of the attractions.....
The Giant Slide......it's huge! A massive inflatable
slide - clamber up the cargo netting, take in the view at
the top, and then slide at great speed to the bottom. It's
going to be a star attraction.....just £1 for limitless fun!

Giant Slide - always popular!
The Goring &
Streatley regatta is steeped in history and tradition. It
may be old fashioned but Punch and Judy
is simply the best entertainment for kids around. With shows
throughout the day be sure to note down the times....
failure to do so could cause great disappointment!

Canoe racing....great fun
Don't forget the arena
events. We have a really
impressive display this year. Racing Ferrets -
a sight not to be missed,
and Dog Agility - that's dogs running extremely fast
around a course of obstacles .....well that's the idea but
things don't always go to plan!
Live Music
from Goring unplugged is always a popular
attraction....... may be the close vicinity to the bar has
something to do with it! |
