We're not just about rowing and punts - we also arrange a range of
social events off and on the water.
Each season
heralds the now famous 'Round the Island Head' - a
timed row from the boathouse, around the island and back.
Crew are drawn at random......and fun is had by all!
Of course there are our annual trips to France......we
take the celebrations very seriously.....no toga party is
the same without us! The French are excellent hosts, and we
always have an unforgettable weekend.

We also do our
bit for others - In 2007 16 rowers completed a 50km
sponsored row and raised over £4k for WaterAid -
full
story here.
Non-rowing
events also feature in our calendar:-
The annual Dinner Dance is as popular as ever, a black
tie event at the end of the season where everyone gets the
opportunity to prove they are more co-ordinated on the dance
floor than in a boat!
